Thy Testimonies!

"Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them." (v. 129 KJV)

The Psalmist speaks of God's Word. We must realize that God's Holy Word cannot be compared with no other written word. His Word is the Law; in living by His Word we gain understanding; we gain wisdom; we gain right knowledge.

"The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple." (v. 130 KJV)

The simple minded who obey God's Holy Word walk among kings and priests! Jesus Himself lets us know what simplicity is when He declares: "...Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou has perfected praise?" (Matthew 21:16 KJV)

Yes, the simple, those who obey God's Holy Word; His Law, His Testimonies; God looks upon them, God keeps them!

LORD, "Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes. Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law." (v. 135-136 KJV)
