Dominion and Authority!

“Wealth: A False Sense of Security!”

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Matthew 6:19-21 KJV)

Blessings Kingdom Citizens! Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom In The Earth! “Wealth A False Sense of Security!” Yet, everyone at some point in life has chased after wealth; gone in search of it.

Let’s consider the California Gold Rush which began in 1848 and lasted until 1855. Over 300,000 relocated to California within these seven years, in search of gold. With this came “the genocide (killing) of 100,000 native Californians who died between 1848-1866.”

“Wealth A False Sense of Security!” “California had gone from a tiny populated ex-Mexican territory to the home state of the first nominee for the Republican Party.” The effects of the Gold Rush when you think of the outcome, were brutal.

“Wealth: A False Sense of Security!” “Whole indigenous societies were attacked, pushed off their lands by the gold-seekers” referred to as “forty-niners” (1849). The “Gold Rush” also brought people from countries as far as Latin America, Europe, Australia, and China in search of gold.

Yet, only a few became rich even though in today’s dollars, tens of billions was recovered in gold. “Wealth: A False Sense of Security!” “Many returned home with little more than they had started.” Jesus tells us: “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.” (Matthew 6:19-20)

“The old American Dream…was the dream of the Puritans,...of men and women content to accumulate their modest fortunes a little at a time, year by year by year. The new dream was the dream of instant wealth, won in a twinkling by audacity and good luck. [This] golden dream…became a prominent part of the American psyche …”

“Wealth: A False Sense of Security!” Benjamin Franklin, “one of America’s most influential Founding Fathers,” warns: “Poverty wants some things, Luxury many things, Avarice all things.” Avarice means “extreme greed for wealth or material gain.” Kingdom Citizens! Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in The Earth! Be aware: “Wealth: A False Sense of Security!”

Dominion and Authority!

“Spiritual Freedom!”

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (2 Corinthians 3:17 NIV)

Blessings Kingdom Citizens! Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom In The Earth! When you are spiritually free: you are free indeed. Our Lord specifically relayed the following Words to “a teacher of the law:” “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” (Matthew 8:20 NIV)

“Spiritual Freedom” is what Jesus represented here in the earth. He was not bound by anything; Wherever He was in the earth, He was free. Jesus declared: “For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.” (John 6:38 NIV) True discipleship commands “Spiritual Freedom” on our part. You cannot be a disciple of Jesus Christ and be bugged down with the cares of this world.

Jesus shows this clearly when “another disciple said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.” But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.” (John 8: 21-22 NIV) True disciples of Jesus Christ are alive in Him. They experience “Spiritual Freedom” in Him.

Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth! The apostle Paul provides this warning: ““I have the right to do anything,” you say – but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything” – but I will not be mastered by anything.”” (1 Corinthians 6:12 NIV) “So, if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36 NIV) “Spiritual Freedom!”

“Rely Only Upon God!”

“My soul wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.” (Psalm 62:5 KJV)

Blessings Kingdom Citizens! Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom In The Earth! King David penned so many Psalms to encourage us that we are to “wait thou only upon God.” Look for help only from God. “Rely Only Upon God!”

God is our rock; He is our defense; when we “rely only upon Him,” He will never fail us. “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” (Psalm 121:1-2 KJV)

“My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.” (Psalm 5:3 KJV) Kingdom Citizens! Hears of God’s Heavenly Kingdom In The Earth: “Rely Only Upon God! “I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say on the LORD.” (Psalm 27:13-15 KJV)

King David makes a plea to us to “Wait on the LORD.” To “Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” (Psalm 37:5 KJV) Whatever you so desire; whomever you so desire; “commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him.” Look for help only from God. “Rely Only Upon God.”

“Only Love Can Truly Save The World!”

“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” (John 13:34-35 KJV)

Blessings Kingdom Citizens! Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom In The Earth! John 13:34-35 are the words of Jesus Christ as He celebrated His last Passover with His disciples. The title of today’s message “Only Love Can Save The World” is a quote from the 2017 movie Wonder Woman.

As I reflect on the Words of Jesus Christ; “…..love one another…” this is exactly the character Wonder Woman exhibited. Love! This is exactly what Christ was relaying to His disciples; the concept of love; which would bind them together to be able to accomplish all that Christ had declared.

“Only Love Can Truly Save The World!” God’s love extends to all mankind. The apostle Peter writes: “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9 KJV)

Know for sure; “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away as a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” (v. 9)

Yes, our works will perish; yet, love will accompany us into eternity. “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.” (1 Corinthians 13:13 KJV) Charity (love, agapē love). Kingdom Citizens! Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom In The Earth: know that “Only Love Can Truly Save The World!”

“The Light of Life!”

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John 8:8:12 KJV)

Blessings Kingdom Citizens! Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom In The Earth! “The Light of Life” is within us; we are called on to let that light shine forth. The Bible; the Word of God, is the tool which will help us to walk in “The Light of Life!”

Jesus also declared: “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16 KJV) “The Light of Life!”

“Vowed a Vow unto the LORD!”

“Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the LORD’S, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.” (Judges 11:31 KJV)

Blessings Kingdom Citizens! Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom In The Earth! July 12th Message was titled “The Stone That The Builder Rejected!” This Message was centered on Jeph-thah, whose Israelite half-brothers drove him away without his inheritance, main reason: he was the son of a harlot. Jeph-thah was later approached by his family(Gil-e-ad) to help the children of Israel defeat their enemy, the children of Ammon. Israel won the battle, Jeph-thah later judged the children of Israel.

As the story unfolds, Jeph-thah made a vow to the LORD in exchange for victory of the Israelites over their enemies. Today’s Message is titled: “Vowed a Vow unto the LORD!”

So many have “Vowed a Vow unto the LORD,” but how many have kept that vow? This is the question for today! Jeph-thah may have felt confident in making this vow, but he did not know what the outcome of that vow would be; he opened his mouth, he made his vow, and God came back with His selection. Heart wrenching to Jeph-thah, the LORD desired his only daughter; his only child to be set apart. (Judges 11:34-40)

This reminds me of the story of Abraham and Isaac. The LORD, God will test our loyalty. Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth; How loyal are you to the LORD, God? Are you cognitive of the vow(s) you made to God? Are you aware of what God has expected from you? “Vowed a Vow unto the LORD!”

“Mindful of Me!”

“What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him?” (Job 7:17 KJV)

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth! Today’s Message is titled “Mindful of Me!” What is man in God’s eyes? This is the questions we should each ask ourselves. Job asked himself that question; king David asked the same question: “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?” (Psalm 8:4 KJV)

Yes, God is mindful of all creation: He created us. “He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.” (Psalm 91:4 KJV) “Mindful of Me.” Know that there is a secret place in God, our abiding place. This place is found under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1) “Mindful of Me!”

“Why Seek Ye The Living Among The Dead?”

“It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.” (Luke 24:10 KJV)

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth! Today’s Message comes from the Gospel of Luke. It should not be surprising to know that Jesus had a following of faithful women: women who were dedicated in service to Him.

“Why Seek Ye The Living Among The Dead?” These words were spoken by the two angels (“two men in shining garments”) who camped out at Jesus’ empty tomb. The women who heard these words, relayed them to the disciples of Jesus Christ. The Gospel of Luke reveals the response of the disciples: “And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.” (Luke 24:11 KJV)

“…their words seemed to them as idle tales…” It just shows how women were viewed by men in Jesus’ time. These women walked with The Master; they served The Master; they were present and witnessed the trial of The Master; they walked the road to Golgotha, to witness the crucifixion of The Master, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They believed! When they heard the words: “Why Seek Ye The Living Among The Dead,” they believed!

The apostles “they believed them not.” These men paid no attention to the women. To them; it seemed impossible for Christ to not be in His tomb, the disciples had witnessed His crucifixion.

But, Peter did take note: Peter went in search of truth. Were these women speaking the truth? Peter needed proof. “Then arose Peter, and ran unto the sepulcher; and stooping down, he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in himself at that which was to come.” (v. 12 )

Kingdom Citizens: Heirs to God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth; does the question “Why Seek Ye The Living Among The Dead” apply to you? Have you grasped the concept that Jesus Christ, The Master; our Lord and Savior is alive? The Master in His appearance to John the Revelator, declared: “I

am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for everemore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and death.” (Revelations 1:18 KJV)

“Why Seek Ye The Living Among The Dead?” “He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” (Luke 24:6-7 KJV) “Why Seek Ye The Living Among The Dead?” The cost of true discipleship is to follow Jesus Christ. “Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:60 KJV)

“Peace Be Still!”

“…Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace be still.” (Mark 4:38-39 KJV)

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth! Today’s Message comes out of the Gospel of Mark. An account isgiven of Jesus calming the sea. “Master, carest thou not that we perish?” This question has been raised by so many, including myself; probably you. “Master, carest thou not that we perish?”

Know for sure, The Master cares? Here Jesus’ response to His disciples, after He has calmed the raging sea is; “Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?” (v. 40 ) His disciples had no inclination of who Jesus Christ really was. If they did, they would not have become petrified, fearful in the company of The Master.

My question to you today is, Do you understand Jesus Christ? Ponder on this question as you reflect back from the time you have heard about The Master, and from the time you have been walking with The Master. The apostle Mark’s recollection of this event is summed up in these words: “And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

“Peace Be Still!” The wind and the sea Christ called out to be still. The situations in our lives, situations which cause us to be awake at nights, to lose focus during the day; speak peace into those situations. ‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Speak life into your situations. “Peace Be Still!

“Not The Spirit of Fear!”

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth!

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV)

There is a “spirit of fear” which attacks Kingdom Citizens from time to time. The Bible tells us “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Peter 5:8 KJV)

“Not A Sprit of Fear!” God is in control of our lives; our daily declaration must be, “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? (Psalm 118:6 KJV) “What can man do unto us? Nothing! for the LORD is with us.

“So that we may boldly say, THE LORD IS MY HELPER, AND I WILL NOT FEAR WHAT MAN SHALL DO UNTO ME.” (Hebrews 13:6 KJV) The LORD is our Helper! The LORD will fight for us (Deuteronomy 5:5)

Kingdom Citizens! Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth: the apostle Paul assures us with these encouraging Words: “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Aba, Father.” (Romans 8:15 KJV) We cry out to God, we cry out to The Father: He is our Refuge. When the storms of life are upon us; know that He is our refuge.

Psalm 46 is a reminder to us as well as the reassurance that:

1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

2Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

3Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

4There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

5God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

6The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

7The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

8Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

9He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

10Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

11The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. “Not The Spirit of Fear!”

“For Such A Time As This!”

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth!

Today’s Messages continues with the Book of Esther. The Message titled “For Such A Time As This!”

“…and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for time as this?” (Esther 4:14 KJV)

There are things in life which we be groomed to be able to do; Esther was groomed to become the new Queen of. This grooming was a long process, before Esther could fulfill her assignment: to save the Jews from total extinction.

Kingdom Citizens! Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth; you are in the grooming stage of your assignment here in this earth; until all is fulfilled, and a new heaven and new earth is in place, you are being groomed. “…They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” (Isaiah 11:6-9 KJV) “For Such A Time As This!”

“A Queen in The Making!”

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth!

Today’s Messages come out of the Book of Esther. This message is titled “A Queen in The Making!” The Biblical story of Esther is a very interesting and story. This story helps us to see that what the apostle means when he declares: “For there is no respect of persons with God” (Romans 2:11 KJV)

Esther was an orphan and she was a Jew. Yet, she took the throne away from queen Vashti. Why? Because God had a plan for His people. Know for sure, God has a plan for you and for me. Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth; God has a plan for us.

Queen Vashti’s refusal to be paraded in front of king A-has-u-e-rus occurred at the appointed time. Yes she was the queen, yes she should not be parading in from of the people, however, the king was the king and he could do whatever he desires to do with the queen.

God is God and it is His choice to do what He desires to do with anyone of His creation. “For there is no respect of persons with God.” Parading queen Vashti was something the king desired to do; she lost her position on the throne as a result of not obeying the king.

The search for a new queen was set in motion. Esther; an orphan Jew; “A Queen In The Making! Kingdom women; Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth; are you “A Queen In The Making?” Ponder on this question. “A Queen In The Making!”

“The Stone That The Builders Rejected!”

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth! Psalm 118:22-23 reads: “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.” (ESV)

Today’s message comes from Chapter 11 of the Book of Judges. The story of Jeph-thah and how he became Judge over the children of Israel lets us know that God will elevate the outcast in each family. We see this with king David; where God took him from tending sheep to being the ruler over Israel. We also see this with Joseph, where he is despised by his siblings, sold into slavery, went down to Egypt, bought by an officer of Pharaohs’s captain of the guard, lied on by the officer's wife, put into prison, foretells the dream of the baker and cup bearer who thereafter promised to tell Pharaoh about Joseph, once their life is speared, which the one did not do. It took years for Joseph to be vindicated, but, Joseph did get an opportunity to interpret the dreams of Pharo and was made second in command; he was made ruler over Egypt, second in command over Egypt.

Today’s message “The Stone That The Builders Rejected!” brings to the forefront how easy it is to judge family members for no apparent reason. David and Joseph’s brothers cast them aside out of jealosy; Jeph-thah is cast aside by his siblings because his mother was a harlot, his siblings refused to give him his inheritance.

The Scripture reads: “Now Jeph-thah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valor, and he was the son of an harlot: and Gilead begat Jephthat. And Gilead’s wife bare him sons; and his wife’s sons grew up, and they trust out Jeph-that, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father’s house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.” (Judges 11:1-2 KJV) David and Joseph were rejected when young, Jeph-thah and Moses were rejected when they grew up.

“The Stone That The Builders Rejected!” Israel has returned to sinning and God has return them to bondage. “And the children of Israel did evil, again in the sight of the LORD… And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the children of Ammon.” (Judges 10:6-7 KJV)

God is angry with the children of Israel and has thrust them into the hands of their enemies for eighteen long years. “…Israel was sore distress. And the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, saying, We have sinned against thee, both because we have forsaken our God and have served Ba-a-lim…” (Judges 10:9-10 KJV) God did not responded mercifully; God declared: “Go and cry unto the gods which ye have chosen; let them deliver you in the time of your tribulation.” (Judges 11:14 KJV)

“The Stone That The Builders Rejected!” Israel has to now go to their brother on bending knees. Thy go to Jeph-thah, “a mighty man of valor.” They had to go to him seeking help to fight the enemies of Israel. Remember though, Jeph-thah is “a mighty man of valor.” They need his help; so he sets conditions for the children of Israel. “And Jeph-thah said unto the elders of Gilead, If ye bring me home again to fight against the children of Aamon, and the LORD deliver them before me, shall I be your head? And the elders of Gilead said unto Jeph-thah, The LORD be witness between us, if we do not so according to thy words.” (Judges 11:9-10 KJV)

The Stone That The Builders Rejected!” Be careful in your treatment of family members. King David lets us know that “God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.” (Psalm 68:6 KJV)

David, Joseph, Jeph-that, even Moses (“And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.”) (Numbers 12:1 KJV) were the many solitary ones in their families, which the Bible speaks of. I, without a doubt, know that I am “the solitary in my family.”

The children of Israel agree to Jeph-that’s terms and he returns with them to fight against the enemies of the children of Israel. He returns to fight against the Ammonites. “The Stone That The Builders Rejected! Kingdom Citizens, Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth; be careful in your treatment of your family members. “The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.” (ESV)

“For As He Thinketh In His Heart!”

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth!

King Solomon writes: “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:” (Proverbs 23:7 KJV) In this verse, and the verse that follow; king Solomon speaks with regards to being in the company of others who you are sure has your best interest at hand, but they do not. Here Solomon speaks about breaking bread with such persons.

“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.” (Proverbs 23:7-8 KJV) As a young child, my mother prohibited us from eating meals prepared by others in their homes. I never knew why she so strongly opposed this, but as the saying goes: “Mother knows best!” She possessed godly wisdom.

“For As He Thinketh In His Heart!” As young children; we had no other choice but to pay keen attention and to obey what our Mother said. This penned out for me in my adult years. “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. The morsel which thou has eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.” (v. 7-8 )

This is exactly why I strongly steer clear of eating meals prepared by others in their homes, or brought from their homes. When I do not keep this warning given by my Mother; exactly what king Solomon says, always occur: “The morsel which thou has eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words.” (v. 8 ) literally, I get sick.

“As He Thinketh In His Heart!” also applies to the thoughts you may think towards yourself, and your thoughts towards others. I want to touch on both aspects, “For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he:” Let me speak of the second before I speak of the first: let me speak of the thoughts one may have in his/her heart towards another. We all know that our Father in Heaven; only has good thoughts towards us. He speaks of this in Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” (KJV)

As you can see, God has only good thoughts towards us: He states this in His Word. What about persons you interact with daily? Family members; friends; extended family; acquaintances; even strangers. What is your understanding of their thoughts towards you? Have you ever paused to think of this; if not, pause. Honestly ask yourself if the thoughts you have towards these individuals, are the same thoughts they have towards you.

Now this is where the Proverbs of Solomon has made an enormous impact on my life, in my interaction with others. “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:23 KJV) It took me half a decade to realize how vital guarding my heart it; guarding your heart, keeping your heart with all diligence is a matter of life and death. “As He Thinketh In His Heart!” 100% truth!

“As He Thinketh In His Heart!” Jesus declared: “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” (Luke 6:45 KJV) This is exactly how you will know who is for you and who is against you. God will let that person open their mouth in your presence. One will succeed in guarding his/her heart against family members: “A Man’s foes shall be they of his own household.” (Matthew 10:36 KJV); friends; acquaintances; strangers and even members of the Body of Christ, when one understands the words: “For as He Thinketh In His Heart, so is he.”

The second part of “For As He Thinketh In His Heart!” relates to the individual’s progress in life. Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in The Earth; we must think positively in all aspects of our life. “For As He Thinketh In His Heart, So Is He!”

Dominion and Authority!

“If Ye Love Me!”

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15 KJV)

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth!

Here, Jesus is making preparation to return to the Father; the prophesy of Him had to be fulfilled. “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5 KJV)

Jesus makes it as plain as day to His disciples: “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

Have you ever wonder why Jesus stated: “If ye love me, keep my commandments?” Jesus did not say, if ye love me keep God’s commandments. He said; “if ye love me, keep my commandments.“

Reason! Jesus Christ in found in God. Jesus specifically states this when He is asked by his disciple Philip to show them the Father. Jesus declared: “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.” (John 14:10 KJV)

Jesus’ commandment was a new commandment, the disciples and Jesus’ following were familiar with the Commandments given by God, Jesus on His way to the Father provided a new Commandment; a new way of living. “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” (John 13:34-35 KJV)  Jesus declared: "But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do." (John 14:31 KJV)

No one will know that we are disciples of Jesus Christ if we have no love for each other; if we take advantage of each other; if we tear each other down with our mouth. The apostle Paul gives a rundown of what love means for the Body of Christ, this can be found in 1 Corinthians 13:1-13).

“If Ye Love Me!” Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth; if we love Christ we will keep His Commandments. "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and i will love him, and will manifest myself to him." (John 14:21 KJV)  “If Ye Love Me!”

Dominion and Authority!

“The Abundant Life Attained Through Giving!”

“Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.” (Deuteronomy 15:10 KJV)

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God's Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth.  Here God is referring to the poor among us: God makes it clear when He says: “If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from the poor brother. But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.” (Deuteronomy 1`5:7-8 KJV)

In observing the notion of giving in general, giving to the poor or not poor. Giving is not genuinely practiced in our churches today. The steadfast practice of not giving is what blocks the blessings of parishioners and they are not cognoscente of this fact, they are not aware that their blessings are being blocked because they steadfastly commit to not give.

Begin to give a devotional offering and not look at Pastors and Ministers as being wealthy; Pastors and Ministers have understood the secret to The Abundant Life Attained Through Giving! For parishioners throughout the land, I am sharing this secret with you: Begin Giving!

To be blessed you must be liberal in your giving. Give freely! Never grieve (hurt) when you give! In fact; give without being called on to give. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ declared: “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” (Luke 6:38 KJV)

“The Abundant Life Attained Through Giving!” God Himself declared: “because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.” Giving! Yes, the Lord will bless you when you give cheerfully. Paul writes: “Every man according as he purposeth in his hearth, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7 KJV) You must purpose in your heart to give.

“The Abundant Life Attained Through Giving!” Everyone is looking, searching for the abundant life: they have failed to realize that this abundant life is attained through giving. The poor does not have an opportunity to give; but those who are not poor do have an opportunity and an obligation to give. Give according to your ability; if you declare that you have zero (0) ability to give, then you will have zero (0) ability to receive. When you give, your giving will again return both to great advantage and with great recompense (compensation/reward); in temporal or spiritual or both.

There are advantages to giving, there are rewards to giving; this is exactly why God declared: “Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.”

“The Abundant Life Attained Only Through Giving!” Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth, are you desiring to get out of the daily rut you find yourself in; operating like a hamster on a treadmill; going around and around without seeing any end in sight in every area of your life? Then, start giving and do so cheerfully. “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”

The apostle Paul writes: “I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to given than to receive.” (Acts 20:35 KJV) “The Abundant Life Attained Through Giving!” Give of self and of resources.

Jesus Himself declared: “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10 KJV)

Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth: Understand the teachings of Jesus Christ and you will understand His Words: “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” “The Abundant Life Attained Through Giving!”

“Let Not The Sun go Down Upon Your Wrath!”

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth!

“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:” (Ephesians 4:26 KJV)

The apostle Paul tells the Believer to be angry; but do not sin while angry, and never to let the sun go down on one’s anger. Today’s Message is being directed to Pastors and Ministers in Ministry, as we are held to a higher standard by God and by our fellow man.

“Be ye angry.” Getting angry is a part of our make-up. When we read the Holy Bible; we read on many occasions about the anger of God. Yes; God gets angry, and He renders punishment; this is found throughout the Old Testament in His relationship with the children of Israel.

Pastors and Ministers in Ministry do get angry, and are permitted to get angry when they see wrong occurring. The Bible tells us that we steer clear of sin; that we should not be entangled with sin. The Bible does not tell us that we steer clear of being angry.

The Bible also tells us that we should never allow the sun to go down on our wrath (anger). “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.” Moses exhibited bouts of anger; his first display was during his return from the mountain top with the Ten Commandments, written by the hand of God. Moses saw firsthand, how easy it was for God’s children to become entangled with sin; in his absence the children of Israel had made a golden calf and were worshiping the calf; the calf was their replacement of God. Moses in his anger threw the two tablets to the ground as he approached the scene; (Exodus 32-34)

Pastors and Ministers get angry because of the lifestyle of the Believer. Even the high priest Aaron was at fault. Aaron’s word to Moses was; “Do not be angry, my lord, You know how prone these people are to evil.” (Exodus 32:22 NIV) Moses was furious with his people; he was furious with his High Priest Aaron, yet he prayed to God for forgiveness of their sin. The Bible declares: “And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin-; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written. And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.” (Exodus 32:31-32)

David exhibited anger. David’s anger was against the enemies of God; but his anger was so extreme, that he was prohibited by God, from building a house for God’s name. The Scripture reads: “But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and has shed blood.” (1 Chronicles 28:3 KJV)

Anger is permitted; sin is not permitted. So, when you look at a Pastor, a Minister, or a person in Ministry, know that they are given permission to be angry, but are not given permission to sin. Likewise; for those not in Ministry, you are permitted to be angry, but you are not permitted to sin.

So, do not look at Pastors and Ministers and call them out when they become angry; you can call them out when they sin and when they allow the sun to go down on their wrath (anger); anger is healthy, sin is unhealthy. What you choose to do with the anger can lead up to sin, avoid the sin, thank God that you have permission to be angry so you can let out steam; avert sin and never allow the sun to go down on your wrath. And, never, never give place to the devil.

Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth; “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceeed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:26-32 KJV)

“Steadfastly Minded!”

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth!

“And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God.” (Ruth 1:16 KJV)

“Steadfastly Minded!” Today’s message comes from the Book of Ruth. The story of Ruth shows us that “God is no respecter of persons. But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.” (Acts 10:34-35 KJV) “Thy God my God.” This is the faithfulness God looks for in people; He desires truth within us. This is evidence by King David who penned Psalm 51.

“Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.” (Psalm 51:6 KJV) David has sinned against God, David’s sin is grievous, and he longs to make amends with God. It was David’s remorsefulness that God looked at; it was David’s heart God searched out; it was David’s faithfulness that got God's attention.

Ruth’s faithfulness towards Naomi was on display. Ruth would not leave her mother-in-law’s side. “Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.” (Ruth 1:17 KJV)

“Steadfastly Minded!” “When she saw that she was steadfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.” (V. 18 KJV) Ruth was not leaving Naomi to fend for herself, in spite of the fact that Ruth herself had lost her husband.

Naomi had lost her husband and two sons in the land of Moab. Moab was not a good place, but it was the place Naomi and her family chose to go down to when there was a famine in Bethlehem-Judah. Ruth is young, she has a full life ahead of her, yet she chooses to return to Bethlehem with her mother-in-law.

How often would one give up all they have, to cleave to an in-law. Ruth knew Moab, she grew up in that land; she was accustomed to the customs and culture of that land. The land brought nothing but sorrow to Naomi. Naomi was bitter: it was her desire to return home. “I went out full, and the LORD hath brought me home again empty: why then call me Naomi, seeing the LORD hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me?” (v. 21)

“Steadfastly Minded!” Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the earth; we must have the mindset displayed by Ruth. We must be steadfastly minded in our relationship with older family members; we cannot take them for granted, be dismissive of them, and expect to receive God’s blessings in our lives. God honored Ruth’s steadfastness towards her mother-in-law.

Naomi was returning home, but Ruth refused to let her return without a companion. Ruth chose to be Naomi’s companion. There was no monetary gain in this relationship; it was simply love. Ruth’s love for her mother-in-law was looked at favorably by God. Ruth’s love for her mother-in-law opened the door to Ruth finding favor with Boaz, a family relations of Naomi who lived in Bethlehem.

It was not easy returning to Bethlehem. There were no jobs there, yet Ruth and Naomi had to survive. Ruth took to gleaning in the fields owned by Boaz. Boaz took notice of Ruth. In the end, a match was made in heaven; Boaz married Ruth, and gave birth to Obed. Naomi welcomed a new family. The biblical story states: “And the women her neighbors gave it a name saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of King David.” (Ruth 4:17 KJV) “There is a son born to Naomi.” Out of feeling bitter for herself, God brought sweetness into Naomi’s life. God presented a godly heritage for Naomi down through the ages.

“Steadfastly Minded!” Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly in the Earth, God can do this for you too. Ruth, is listed in the genealogy of Jesus Christ. The prophesy of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Messiah, as declared by the prophet Isaiah: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” (Isaiah 9:6-7 KJV) “Steadfastly Minded!”

Comfort: Thy Rod and Thy Staff!

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth!

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4 KJV)

“I will fear no evil.” Psalm 23 is the most well-known, well read, and deeply meditated Psalm of the Word of God. As we read and reflect on this Psalm, we experience the guidance of God through the powerful words penned by King David, as God’s Holy Spirit guided, protected, and comforted him.

“The LORD is my shepherd. I shall not want.” This first verse of Psalm 23 says it all. “I shall not want. The reason why? The Lord is my shepherd. The LORD takes care of me, He comforts me, He instructs me; He guides me, He is my all in all.

Psalm 23King James Version (KJV)

23 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Comfort: Thy Rod and Thy Staff! Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth! Rest assured that God is with you at all times.

Dominion and Authority!

The Children of a King!

“As thou art, so were they; each one resembled the children of a king.” (Judges 8:18 KJV)

Blessings Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth, you may not know but rest assured; to onlookers, “we resemble the children of a king;” we are stamped with the seal of the King of kings.

As Kingdom Citizens: Heirs of God’s Heavenly Kingdom in the Earth, we must allow God to orchestrate our lives; allow Him to arrange and direct our lives. The Children of a King! We must walk humbly with God.

Gideon the fifth Judge of Israel, judged the children of Israel for forty years after he had subdued their enemies, the Midianites. God gave the children of Israel forty years of quietness. After Gideon’s death, the children of Israel went astray.

The Children of a King! The children of Israel did not have a successor to Gideon; God was their ruler and their Judge. The result was, the children of Israel went astray. They did not have a human judge whom they could see with the naked eye, Gideon had died, so they returned to doing as they pleased.

“And the children of Israel remembered not the LORD their God, who had delivered them out of the hand of all their enemies on every side: Neither shewed they kindness to the house of Jer-ub-ba-al, namely, Gideon, according to all the goodness which he had shewed unto Israel.” (Judges 8:34-35 KJV)

The Children of a King! The Israelites returned to their old ways. They returned to a life of sinning against God. The children of Israel forgot about their former living in the dens, caves; their hiding from their enemies. How easily does one forget? It was less than fifty-years that the children of Israel were in hiding; they were being hounded by their enemies, yet the forgot and went a whoring right after the death of Gideon.

The Children of a King! The Psalmist declares: “They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed but abideth for ever.” (Psalm 125:1 KJV) We must faithfully trust in the LORD. King David knew what it meant to cast his cares on the LORD. King David writes: “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” (Psalm 55:22 KJV)

The Children of a King! The many battles David fought as a king, against the enemies of Israel it is no wonder he can declare: “cast thy burden upon the LORD…” Cast all thy burden, not some of thy burden. You are called on to cast all your burden on God.
